Send in the clowns, you know I need a laugh
I’ve been god damn miserable for days.
I’d like to think it’s because I’m homesick,
but I’ve not thought of London like that in anyway.
I’ve a face like thunder and thighs to match,
I’m like a book of teenage poetry; full of angst
I am a scribbled note in my sketchbook pad
scrawled in drunken rushes
in the night bus hour it said “You’re not going anywhere”
Days have passed since I last gave a fuck
I’ve got Taste Of Ink on repeat so no one comes into my room much.
My heart lacks luster with this wirters block
I called in work sick again because
without writing my failures just feel so much worse
Its like I’m not going anywhere.
